splashmins

We are going to Splashmins again on Thursday.
Every time we have been, it has rained at some point during the day. A sign of the great Rain forest spreading itself across Guyana. The rain has never spoilt our day though. In fact, it seems to add to the exotic beauty of the place, with its' clear "coke" coloured water of the creek , the white sand, and the surrounding, dense forest. The water has a mixture of warm and cold currents to surprise. Last time, I swam underwater, and it was a surreal experience to not see anything, but blackness !
